Jeremey Plastow
Managing Director

Jeremey set up Preferred in 1996. Jeremey is Managing Director of the £10M turnover business with special focus on fostering major accounts and looking at new markets. Since its inception Preferred now operates in a broad range of sectors including, student amenity design and fit out, bedroom refurbishments, commercial design and fit out, stadium refurbishments including training ground design and fit out and furniture procurement and provision.

A recent major achievement is setting up the London Office which is currently thriving and already employs 4 people.

I started in the industry in 2004 and now I can’t leave it!

I began working on the small works side of the business in 2004 and developed it in to a million pound turnover. I started on major projects in 2007 and developed major accounts with Manchester Airport and United Utilities.

My favourite part of the job is working with nice clients and getting positive feedback, delivering a quality fit-out on programme.

My job is dealing and communicating with clients once a project is nearing completion, and for the following 12 months. This involves liaising with clients on a regular basis, sorting out defects, snagging, and any additional works they may require.

I managed a business park for 10 years, dealing with 35-40 businesses on a day to day working basis. I enjoy interacting with customers, clients, and suppliers - especially problem solving.

Furniture Manager

As the manager of the furniture department, I'm responsible for sales, sourcing furniture, and overseeing the delivery and install on site.

I entered the industry 12 years ago and have been with Preferred Spaces ever since.

I like dealing with a wide variety client base. I enjoy selecting furniture pieces for breakout areas and reception areas, and getting creative with fabrics.
